Community Healthcare and Wellness

Under guidance and partnership with the WHOCCET, we have initiated a community led healthcare project in Sitamarhi(Bihar), with the motto ‘Health for All – By the Community, For the Community’. Elder Care Programme in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Delhi

The elder care programme currently operating in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Delhi caters to the needs of seniors. The services include:

  • Personalized home care services focusing on physical and mental well-being, featuring a “Care Buddy” system for companionship and daily assistance.
  • Holistic support for physical, social, and emotional well-being, leveraging technology and personalized care plans.
  • Caretaker services, including assistance with daily chores and medical support.

These programs primarily address physical health, daily assistance, and companionship. However, gaps exist in specialized services such as:

  • Geriatric-focused mental health support
  • Digital literacy
  • Financial literacy
  • Legal counselling

While some offer general counselling, few emphasize geriatric mental health expertise. Assistance with daily chores is common, but banking support is limited to basic help, lacking financial literacy or secure transaction services. Legal counselling, particularly for elder-specific issues like wills or property management, also appears underserved.
