Teacher Training Programmes
The aim of education is to help individuals realise their full potential and become relevant for society. This is the cornerstone of the strategy for developing an equitable and just society.
The UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS), has estimated that 674 million children and adolescents are not achieving minimum proficiency levels (MPLs) in reading and mathematics.
Currently, in India, around 260 million students are going to school. 97% of the children in the age group of 6-14 are going to school, but are not necessarily learning. Data shows that each year an estimated 6 million children complete 8 years of compulsory schooling with below par learning outcomes.
Quality of education is directly linked to the quality of teachers. The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) is the foundation that will enable India to achieve universal acquisition of early childhood development, care and, foundational learning and literacy skills to make the children active learners for life. With NEP 2020 as our guide, we at ‘WeServe’ strongly feel that the critical element to bring in this transformation shall require that teachers be prepared for this new context. Therefore, Continuous Development and Training for the teachers is an imperative for the success of both the NEP 2020 policy and our education system.
‘WeServe’ is hence heavily engaged in preparing the teachers to face these new challenges in terms of curriculum development, instructional designing, student assessment and use of technology; so that our children are future ready for both – “work” and “life”.
Our Teacher Education Programmes are supported by experts and highly competent teacher-educators drawn from the premium institutions in school education.
